Town striker Michael Chopra is facing being banned from driving having admitted travelling at 106 mph on the A12 in Essex on September 13th when he was clocked by a handheld speed gun.

The 27-year-old’s case was adjourned this morning after the former Cardiff man admitted speeding in a letter to the court.

Chopra, who already has six points on his licence, will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on November 16th when he could be handed a ban.

yorkshire added 14:23 - Oct 19 This is completely different to Edwards. I work in sales and would be amazed if most of my colleagues (and I) haven't got close to this speed before on the roads. It is wrong and it is against the law but with cars these days build to ease over the speed limits then it happens with a lot of people a lot of the times.

I would like to see your reactions if Bowyer had another court case. Or if yourselves ever got into any kind of trouble with the law, either serious or minor. You would not cope. All I am concerned about is the teams performances on the pitch. Some of you lot really are out of touch
