Marriott Nets Again But U18s Lose
Marriott Nets Again But U18s Lose
Sunday, 20th Nov 2011 08:24

Striker Jack Marriott scored his fifth goal in his last six FA Premier Academy League games but his goal couldn’t stop the U18s from falling to a 3-1 defeat at Fulham on Saturday.

Marriott put the young Blues ahead but Cauley Woodrow, Mahrez Bettache and Muamer Tankovic won the game for the Londoners, who currently top the group.

Good luck elsewhere Jack. I'm sure Clegg is wondering just how much he can get for you so he can dip into the knackered yard again.

Second bottom....I wonder what Klug thinks.

I think it might be a little bit different scoring in the U18's than in the Championship.

Its less goals in our net we want, not more goals at the other end!!

Well of course!

But isn't it exciting that the lads are competitive.

You can't expect them to win every week.
I mean. Any particular

These players of any note ,have a dire future under the present management. They are not interested in the youth now at this club.Ipswich in the past brought their youth players through the system to build their first team, and it worked very well.?But now the Club is hell bound to gain promotion with a bunch of players that are well past their prime and should be thinking of retirement. The Academy have a number of good players who I think could over 90 min out play some of the first team,.Forget promotion this year ,Consolidate to halt our teams slide down the league. And use some of our good young players ,get them involved rebuild our Club. Replace most of the management,Who must be laughing up their sleeves at us,for the cushy lifestyle the have. With no reproach on their performance with the club.Look around and look what happened with a lot of players. They were snubbed by the new management and not even given any games. In effect they were forced out of the club. The manager can then say they left on their own accord.. Lavery was another who was let down by Jewell, who tried to whitewash the reasons for turning down his pathetic offer. It was half the amount any other player in the club had been offered. That player had scored over 40 goals for Ipswich while he was here.No other player that comes to mind has scored that many.( I could be mistaken? ) Who will be the next bunch of crocks taken on in January to retire at Ipswich retirement home? to have a kick around have fun and see their time out while picking up hefty wages while doing it.STOP, START REBUILDING,USE THE ACADEMY AND DO IT NOW?
