Town’s U18s and U16s games at home to Chelsea on Saturday have been postponed due to the icy weather. However, first-year scholar Jonny Leddy has been in action, for the Republic of Ireland U17s at their training camp in Portugal.

Leddy came on as a 75th minute sub as the Irish youngsters beat a junior side from local club Imortal DC Albufeira 3-1 yesterday. On Monday, they beat another Portuguese club Louletano DC's U17 side 5-2 in another friendly with Leddy playing the full 90 minutes.

The camp, which ends today, is preparation for Ireland's UEFA U17 elite qualifying mini-group in Holland in March where they will face the Dutch, Serbia and Albania. Leddy has previously won five caps at U17 level.
