TWTD was sad to learn of the death over the weekend of long-time Message Boarder Nick Brown, who posted under the name TheDalaiFarmer, at the age of 46.

Tributes have been left on the Message Board throughout today. If you knew Nick, add yours there or below.

Sad news.

RIP Dalai. You could cut me to shreds with your wit but I still found you to be probably the funniest contributor to the message board.

You will be missed by many.

RIP Dalai! Who do we talk to now if the kids wake up in the middle of the night? Great bloke and very witty on the occassions we've spoken.

RIP

I met Nick very briefly in Eindhoven after the PSV match a couple of years ago. It's fair to say we'd both had a few cold drinks, but his humour and love of the Town were both very apparent

Nice guy. Very, very sad......

Very sad. Bloke was clearly a massive town fan and knew his stuff.

Sad news, didn't know Nick personally, but know all to well what it's like to lose a friend at a young age. Condolences to all his friends and family.

A great shame and the message board will be all the poorer without Dalai's encyclopaedic knowledge of all things ITFC, apparently photographic memory of random match details and the posting histories of other users and, of course, his acerbic sense of humour.

It seems to be the right thing to do to raise a glass or two to his memory, so I shall join most of the rest of you in doing so.

Always tragic when someone goes so young.

R.I.P. Dalai. I'm sure your still around somewhere giving someone some stick.

One of the most memorable commentators on this board in recent years. Your wit and insight will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time.

One Dalai Farmer - there's only one Dala Farmer. One Dalai Faaaaaaaaarmer...

Still in a daze, Nick.

I'm proud to be able to call you a good friend - you nocturnal nuisance :)

This time last year we were sat in the Amsterdam sunshine enjoying a couple of beers whilst an old lady played some damn fine House tunes from within. Great times.

RIP, Big Man

Weekender.
