N'Daw at Town Today
Thursday, 23rd Aug 2012 09:56

TWTD understands that St Etienne midfielder Guirane N'Daw is at Town today as discussions continue regarding his move to the Blues. N'Daw and his representative are understood to have been in talks at Town since flying to the UK yesterday afternoon.

French reports earlier this morning said the 28-year-old Senegalese international is close to completing a free transfer but with his current club receiving a percentage of any future sale.

If all goes well, N'Daw, who spent last season on loan with Birmingham, is likely to undergo a medical at Portman Road today and could be a Town player by the time the Blues travel to Blackpool on Saturday.

Yesterday, the French media reported that N'Daw, who is surplus to requirements at his current club, had been offered to the Blues, Charlton and Brighton.

No way! Oh well in Jewell we trust, I suppose. In all seriousness though I think we should back his judgement until N'Daw proves otherwise on the pitch.

Don't know much about him but hope PJ does! Cheap is only good if he turns out to be a decent player i.e. better than what we already have. Good age and if he signs wish him well.

Don't understand the moaning , the chap has represented his country over 40 times , his country are a good footballing side and he played 30 times for Birmingham when they weren't conceding hardly any goals , he signs for us for nothing , is capable of fulfilling two positions ( one of which we desperately need strength in depth in ) and is built like he could cover the whole penalty area .....lets be positive and stop pretending we are all football managers for once .

Has he spoken to Charlton and Brighton yet? I can see this being another fiasco.

Looks like he is a messy eater/drinker. Hopefully he is tidy on the pitch.

Apparently he was class at Birmingham when he was fit. He just struggled to get back to full fitness after the African Cup of Nations...nevertheless he still started the first play off leg. Could really add a bit of strength and experience down the middle. He has played against Xavi, Messi, Iniesta. Would be over the moon....

N,daw n,daw
He likes the odd old whore
He plays at the back
Never attack
And that's what we bought him for.

This is HIS song from brum days.

Maybe PJ didn't know of his availability...he can't be expected to know about every single player in Europe.

He was only recently deemed surplus at his club and reportedly offered to a few clubs in Championship.

Any news on Kourouma Phil???

Ok yesterday i was very upset at the prospect of this. But after weighing the fact he is free, he is experienced both internationally and in this league, and the fact he can cover two positions, i am prepared to reserve judgement. Hope this one works and proves me wrong. Think this is sort of positive.

I like the look of this guy. Will offer a bit of steel to the midfield. I think Hyam and Luongo are looking good however if they come up against a more physical midfield then this guy could be very useful. He will certainly be useful for coming of the bench to protect those leads we create with more first half performances similar to Tuesday night.
