Former Blue Pablo Couñago is training with Spanish second division side CD Lugo having left his most recent employer, the Vietnamese side Đồng Tâm Long An, who he joined in April.

Recently promoted Lugo, who also have one-time Blues trialist Yann Songo'o training with them at present, have confirmed that they are in talks with the 33-year-old free agent.

what some crap comments on here. pabs the last talent we ever had. 1000 times better than the strikers we have now. still most of you have only supported this club in decline, some of us remember the great times.

Reuser and Pablo being dissed? These players were class and we sang their names every match they played. How many players do we sing for now? I just loved Reuser's moving of the ball before playing a corner. How he wound up the away fans.

Pablo was technically one of the most gifted players seen here in recent years but also could be lazy, still one of my favorites and without doubt he didn't fill his true potential.

Reuser, quite simply one of the best players we've had in the last 20 years, injury prone sadly and because of that also never quite fulfilled his early potential, winning a dutch cap at an early age and being touted as the next Van Basten.

Flair players can often seem like luxury players but they have, on their day, a unique ability to bring a stadium to its feet. Those moment are so special for everyone involved in the game and are why people are prepared to pay so much for tickets. An improved Town with an in-form Pablo and Reuser type player would get a lot more bums on seats.
