Reo-Coker and Henderson Make Debuts at Hull
Saturday, 20th Oct 2012 14:22

Town boss Paul Jewell has handed debuts to both of this week’s signings, Stephen Henderson and Nigel Reo-Coker. As expected, midfielder Massimo Luongo is the domestic loanee left out of the 18 with only five of the six allowed to be included.

Scott Loach and Andy Drury drop to the bench, alongside Michael Chopra, who is back in the squad having been left out for the Cardiff game. Full match preview here.

Town: Henderson, Edwards, Chambers, Higginbotham, Cresswell, Emmanuel-Thomas, Wellens, Reo-Coker, Martin, Murphy, Campbell. Subs: Loach, Smith, Hyam, Drury, Mohsni, Scotland, Chopra.

Hull City: Amos, Rosenior, Dawson, McShane, Faye, McKenna, Olofinjana, Elmohamady, Quinn, Aluko, Simpson. Subs: Oxley, Chester, Cooper, Townsend, Evans, Mclean, Proschwitz.

Really surprised to see Scott Loach on the bench after PJ said he was going to take him out of the firing line like he did with Michael Chopra double standards or what?

Oh naughty Nigel - don't set fire to Loungo's suit just is he's not playing he's had hard enough
Day as it is- it would be a Hull of laugh though! Oh Nigel you really have lifted our spirits!

Scott Loach should not be put on the bench for a loan player. Scott is only young he needs matches. This is not going to help him improve. PJ clueless!

This looks like a decent team (so long as they are firing on all cylinders) and which will hopefully will bring the best out of JET and Martin.

As much as I hate the idea of having 8 loanees I really hope the experience from those in the squad can help us grab three points today COYB!

Anyone got any idea what blue_enough is talking about? Today's starting XI looks stronger than any I've seen from us for a while, glad JET remains in the starting line-up, it's time for him to step up and deliver on his pre-season promise.

Three points today

That looks a useful side PJ has put out. JET and Martin bothers me. If they are in the right frame of mind then can see us getting something from the game. If not can see us getting a good tonking and then could see the end of PJ looming.

Lets go for 2-1 Town

@AlexGreen agree totally re starting 11. If we dont start getting points today reckon its the management. We need big games from all our players especially JET & Martin.

Really disappointed for Loach and does not send out the right signals but pretty obvious Coker was going to start today fit or not fit. I can see a surprise 1-0 win to us.

Blue_enough is probably referring to Reo Coker's previous crazy gang antics where it was common to burn your team mates clothing (I think footballers call this 'banter').

Interesting that after 25 mins Hull have had 69% possession and more than twice as many shots, if we can weather the storm maybe we can nick something...

Good start. Please try and get a few more before half time lads. Us trying to hang on to a 1-0 lead is invariably a recipe for disaster..

Tick tock, your time is surely coming up Mr Jewell. 2 points from 21 everyone. Not acceptable.

We need someone who can create a team and actually organise them.
