Blues boss Mick McCarthy has recalled Michael Chopra and Tommy Smith to his starting line-up for today's home game against fellow strugglers Peterborough. Luke Chambers and Daryl Murphy drop to the bench.

I would have had Hyam in place of Reo-Coker.

Agreed, Reo-Coker is just another one of these 'experienced' journeymen who are seen to plug the gap. Need some passion.

Going down absolutely no doubt about it. Peterborough are a very poor side but we are equally as bad. Can Mick McCarthy turn things around? Not in my mind anyway he has always come across to me as absolutely clueless. The only thing that can help this club is relegation every single player bar possibly one or two (at a push) need to be cleared out. I dont think ive ever been as depressed in all my years supporting town. Fair play to whoever went today to watch absolute rubbish. There is sunday football on in parks tomorrow that you can watch for free and it would be of a far higher standard. I know people are going to stick with Mick but I can guarantee you he is NOT the man to turn things around.

To late im afraid worst set of players to put on an Ipswich shirt, I dont blame Mick, Jewell done us big time to all the ones who supported him your now reaping the benefits. For far to long too many people involved in the club fans as well have walked around with their head up their @rse. Also Mick if you think the current squad is good enough to stay in this league im seriously worried weve got the wrong man again.

After seeing this rubbish I m not sure MM can turn this round again poor team selection and if he thought Chopra did well then we certainly need some help.
Bring in Hyam ,loach,Carson and Ainsley he has done nothing wrong get rid of these bloody loans

Nonsense post from trickyblue!

The problem is clear as day to me or problems as there are two.

1 - Henderson has to go. The back 4 are shaky enough as it is let alone a shaky keeper behind them. Loach back in.

2 - The combination of coker and N'daw isn't right. There's no endeavour or passing with any purpose. Time for a Hyam and Drury combination which worked well last season?
