Strong U21 Squad Facing Colchester
Monday, 25th Feb 2013 10:46

Andy Drury, Scott Loach, Patrick Kisnorbo, Elliott Hewitt, Josh Carson, Tyrone Mings, Mark Timlin and Kyle Hammond are amongst those included in the squad for this evening’s U21 game against Colchester United at Portman Road (KO 7pm).

The rules of the U21 Professional Development League Two South allow clubs to field three overage outfield players plus a keeper.

Tickets for tonight’s game cost £3 for adults and £1 for everyone else with only the middle tier of the East of England Co-op Stand open.

How about season ticket holders are they free of charge they always used to be? Perhaps Jet has at last found his level if he can't make the squad.

Let's hope Mings plays well and moves towards the first team. With Edwards and Martin offering so little service to the strikers from the wing, it's a pity Mings hasn't done enough to get a run out.

Mark, mings is a defender so can't really be compared to Edwards and Martin

I misread that for a moment... Thought it said we could field 3 average players instead of overage players and we've got plenty of those!!

Serious question....Does anyone know why it's called an under 21's game when most the tea m are nearer 31? Confuses me every time there is a game!
