Trialists Here For the Week
Tuesday, 26th Feb 2013 13:42

Trialists Ade Yusuff and Mawete Nkunga will spend the rest of the week training with the Blues, according to the Tresham Academy where they currently train.

The 19-year-old duo started last night’s 4-3 U21 victory over Colchester and could feature in Saturday’s U21 game at QPR (KO 11am).

Yusuff is currently playing with Banbury Town in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division and has previously been with St Neots Town, Biggleswade United and Stevenage's youth set-up.

Nkunga, known as Jordy, is with St Neots Town, also in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division.

Tresham Academy manager Jonathan Heathcote also works for the Blues as a scout.

The big question is, are they any good at paintballing?

Need to be very inventive to get 'Mawete Nkunga' into a chant.

It's simple, just change "Um Bongo" to "Nkunga"

Watched the game last night my thoughts:
Ade Yuseff - Very Good going forward, has potential and would thrive off of our professional set up
Mawete Nkunga - Played the whole game at the back, played very well, cannot blame the three goals solely on his performance

HANWOOD - will leave the finer details up to you, but can you do something based around the Lion King song: Hakuna Matata????

I guess this could be a route to find hidden talent, one of our scouts works at Tresham so may well work in our favour! Also assuming these lads will not be after massive wages so there is the potential to find a little gem..... The risks are quite low.

Either of them could be the next Graeme Harbey.

Mr Evans im well aware of that, what Im pointing out is how people were making him out to be a second coming when he came here on trial and he couldnt make the grade here, what hope for him anywhere,

It is a bad sign when (I think) Tommy Smith is our longest serving player.......
