Bristol City Midfielder Linked
Sunday, 7th Apr 2013 15:24

Bristol City midfielder Cole Skuse is amongst Town’s summer targets, according to one of this morning’s tabloids. The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer.

Skuse, who has also played in defence, has spent his entire career with his hometown club, having made his debut in the 2004/05 season. In 2009/10 he was the Robins' Player of the Year and he is their current skipper.

Rumours claiming that 6ft 1in tall Skuse is on Town’s close season wish-list have been circulating online for a number of weeks.

Elsewhere, Everton are reported to have joined Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in eyeing Blues academy schoolboy Andre Dozzell, who recently accepted a scholarship with the Town youth set-up starting when he turns 16 in 2015.

Only Bristol City player I would take is Albert Adomah. Not interested in any of the rest.

Town have been linked to Edwn Hazard and Lionel Messi.

This is a fact. The person who told me sells the Big Issue to the vet who looks after the pet dog of the window cleaner of one of the player's ex girlfriend's uncle's paperboy. So it's true insider knowledge.

I don't think Hazard or Messi would get in our starting 11 to be honest.

Or is it Micky Hazard and Mr Messy?!

Think he'd be ok as a utility player but may aswell just keep Andy Drury instead.

I just went to the JPT Final and had the pleasure of watching in my eyes the future of English football. Luke Murphy, Ryan Colclough, Max Clayton and Ajay Leicht-Smith are players I'd love to see town linked with above anyone else right now - fast; lively; young; hungry and maturing. Clayton and Murphy already are being watched by Premier Clubs so won't be available for long. I'd love to see these players all linked to town
