Continental Move for Naylor?
Continental Move for Naylor?
Saturday, 8th Dec 2001 12:05

Reports this morning say an unnamed continental club are chasing Richard Naylor. The Town striker said earlier in the week that George Burley was willing to let him go if a "decent offer from a decent club" came in.

Naylor has failed to pin down a regular place in the Town side, although he did start upfront in Milan and was happy with his contribution: "I thought I was doing OK, but the Gaffer brought me off. You can only do your best, the Gaffer picks the team but every player wants regular first team football. But playing in the San Siro was fantastic. It was a bit disappointing, conceding two first goals killed it a bit."
