Taylor Pleads Guilty
Friday, 14th Jun 2013 12:09

Striker Paul Taylor pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm at Ipswich Crown Court this morning in relation to an incident at the Robert Ransome pub in October last year. The 25-year-old will be sentenced later this month.

Taylor, who lives in Rendlesham, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm on doorman Shaun Grey on October 16th, along with Olatunde Ademuyiwa, 24, from Liverpool, who also admitted assault by beating on another doorman, Gary Harper.

Both men denied inflicting grievous bodily harm on Mr Grey, pleas which were accepted by the prosecution.

The case was adjourned until June 25th while pre-sentence reports are prepared. The court was told that Taylor has no previous convictions.

Taylor and Ademuyiwa were released on conditional bail which prevents them from going to the Robert Ransome.
