Fans in East Suffolk planning to travel by car to Friday evening’s live Sky game against Barnsley at Portman Road should be aware that there will be roadworks on the A14 in the hours following the match.

From 10pm until 5am the A14 between Junction 55 (Copdock) and Junction 58 (Seven Hills) will be closed to traffic wishing to travel eastbound (towards Felixstowe).

Traffic will be diverted from the A14 at Copdock towards Ipswich town centre and directed to travel around the north of Ipswich via the A1214, A1189 and A1156, rejoining the A14 at Seven Hills interchange to continue their journey. Westbound A14 traffic will not be affected.

NorthSTANDER_ITFC added 18:07 - Oct 29 Key street and college street are open now, commercial road will be sorted by Friday for sure and the A14 works won't effect other traffic on copdock accessing the A12, so stop the blubbing!
