Wilnis, Deller and the Fortuna Blues on Life's a Pitch

Blues are amongst the guests on Life’s a Pitch, which is live over Saturday lunchtime on Radio Suffolk (midday to 2pm). Stand-in presenter Jon Wright is joined by football’s youngest pundit Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham, but legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie misses this week's show.

Deller, the 1983 World Champion, is set to take part in the Legends of Darts Academy Association fundraiser on February 18th, along with current and ex-Town players, including Wilnis, who will be in the studio following a friendly at Ipswich Wanderers with the UK 3 Lions.

The Fortuna Blues will be making their now annual trip from Dusseldorf to Portman Road and are bringing along their own legend Egon Köhnen, while Russell Claydon from the Suffolk Free Press will also be chatting to the show’s regulars.

Former Blue Simon Milton will be on the phone talking about his one-time Town team-mate Ian Redford, who sadly died yesterday.

Can Town get the better of Harry Redknapp’s expensively assembled QPR? Will the run of 1-1 draws be extended to four games?

Add your thoughts on those questions or anything else via email, Jon's Twitter or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
