Traffic Hell for Fans
Traffic Hell for Fans

More than 100 Town supporters returned to their cars after Saturday's game to discover they had been given a parking ticket. Supporters parking in West End Road were targeted by traffic wardens as they watched the Blues beat Spurs 2-1.

This is not the first time this area has seen fans unhappy at the actions of traffic wardens. At the Charlton game in August wardens issued 190 tickets to fans parked in West End Road and Birkfield Drive.

Ticketed fan Tony Chouler was not pleased to return to his car: "I'm going to contest this. Where are the no parking signs? It's a travesty of justice. Are they short of money or something? I parked here all season, and last season and it was OK. The authorities don't stick to rules. If it's a rule it should be adhered to right across the board."
