Ebanks-Blake in Action for U21s
Monday, 17th Feb 2014 15:17

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Anthony Wordsworth, Tyrone Mings, Frazer Richardson, Byron Lawrence and Kyle Hammond will be in the Town U21 side facing Charlton Athletic at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).

Ebanks-Blake made his league debut for the Blues late on in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Blackpool, having recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered in the home FA Cup tie with Preston.

The 27-year-old former Wolves man - twice the winner of the Championship Golden Boot - is amongst manager Mick McCarthy’s options to replace leading scorer David McGoldrick, who is out for all but the final week of the season.

Entry to the Cobbold Stand is free for season ticket holders, while adult tickets are priced at £3 and all concessions £1.

Can only play three overage outfield players, so assume Ebanks-Blake, Wordsworth and Richardson are viewed as more in need of a game.

Good luck son.

90 minutes of action would be very useful.

Dunno. Possible centre midfield or centre-half if not at right-back, but assume MM would want to see him there. Think Hammond has played right midfield in the past.

Taylor is out of favour due to missing the warm weather training. He missed the coach to the airport as he was drinking the night before-allegedly!
