Town are being linked with a loan move for Leicester City winger Anthony Knockaert.

The 23-year-old former France U20 and U21 international was a key member of the Foxes’ promotion side last season but has made only five starts and six sub appearances this year.

Roubaix-born Knockaert started his senior career with French side Guingamp before joining Leicester in August 2012, signing a three-year deal.

One of their most creative influences last season, even if there are certain elements of his game (simulation, selfishness, unnecessarily going for the spectacular) that need keeping in check. He's absolutely not a McCarthy-type player so I'd be surprised if there's truth in the rumour, but he'd be an intriguing addition.

Also people; just because he's not 6ft 4 and build like a brick sh*t house doesn't not mean he's not a MM type of player - Andy Keogh was a light weight winger under MM at Wolves. Also look at Jonny Williams, again hardly a box to box type of player.
