Dozzell's England Through to Final
Saturday, 4th Apr 2015 21:31

Academy schoolboy Andre Dozzell won his eighth cap as England’s U16s drew 1-1 with the Ivory Coast in their final group game at the Montaigu Tournament and now face hosts France in Monday’s final.

Central midfielder Dozzell, 15, played the full 80 minutes, having been a second-half sub in the 4-1 victory over Mexico in the opening match on Tuesday and the full game in the 1-0 win against Turkey on Thursday.

Meanwhile, academy midfielder Monty Patterson missed out the New Zealand U20 squad’s 1-0 friendly defeat in Uzbekistan this morning having withdrawn due to injury.
