Fulham Again Linked With McCarthy
Wednesday, 8th Apr 2015 10:42

Championship strugglers Fulham continue to be linked with a summer move for Blues boss Mick McCarthy.

The Cottagers, who are 20th, eight points off the relegation zone despite receiving lucrative parachute payments following their relegation from the Premier League, were previously mentioned in connection with McCarthy last month.

According to today’s Irish Independent, Fulham owner Shahid Khan is willing to meet Town’s compensation requirements to land the 56-year-old with a four-year contract worth €10 million (£7.3 million) - including a promotion clause - and a big budget on offer at Craven Cottage.

McCarthy, whose family home is still in Bromley, signed a new three-year deal with the Blues last summer.

Current Fulham manager Kit Symons took over, initially as a caretaker-boss, following the departure of Felix Magath in September and is contracted until the end of next season.

Thanks mick, you are the best of a bad bunch over a dismal decade...your achievements over the last two years should not be negated in no way at all....however, I want to move on, this is an entertainment, results driven business....you are not it...Warburton has that modern verve that you lack....a risk yes, but you will continue to do what you have always done....and that just doesn't hack it any more....Town are falling behind financially further and further...you perpetuate the story of make and mend, but fail to highlight the wages ME pays and that includes to you Michael, my dear man..thanks Mick, "No lighty, no likely".....

I agree with many of the previous comments but not those dreaming we are going up ,MM has brought us this far on half a seasons hard work determination then when we needed to step up and play attacking football to push on he had not got the bottle or brains to do it i have watched enough of this dour style of his so from me its time for him to go.

Time to go Mick- it feels like most of us have had enough of you now. Retire- is time to step down with dignity. You are not up to it. Thanks for keeping us up. Next
