U18s Lose at Huddersfield
Sunday, 12th Apr 2015 15:31

Town’s U18s saw their four-game winning run come to an end when they were beaten 2-0 at Huddersfield yesterday.

Jack Senior and substitute Ronan Coughlan netted second-half goals for the Terriers youngsters. The Blues U16s beat the same opposition 2-1.

Meanwhile, former keeper Richard Wright’s son Harry is set to be amongst this year’s intake of full-time academy scholars.

Wright junior, also a keeper, was previously with the Blues' youth set-up before following his father to Manchester City, but having been released has recently appeared for Town’s U16s.

U18s: Hayes, Emmanuel, Daly, Salaudeen (Downes), Fowler, C Smith, Maynard, Blanchfield, Jones (Morris). Ford, Howell.
