Tabb at Left Back according to Stuart Watson on twitter, same as in Germany.

Doubt it. Tabb left back - he played there against Fortuna.

3 at the back or Tabb at left back?

I hope this isn't the starting 11 for Brentford. Defensively far weaker than last season. Let's also hope that Stuart Watson is not correct. A midfielder at left back? Why? We can do better.

This demonstrates we need new additions in defence. One injury and we have problems. Bear in mind Berra misses Brentford. Let's spend some of the Mings money, even if it's only a little.

I find it remarkable that people honestly think we can challenge for automatic promotion with so few defenders.

If Tabb is playing at left back is might indicate we are a little short of numbers at the back!

Strong side otherwise, so hopefully a win for Town.

With Fraser & Niles in the side there is enough pace in the side to play with wingbacks. Worth a shot playing Chambers, Berra & Smith as a back 3 and slotting Tabb into a middle 3 with Skype & Bru. Just for a look anyway.

Playing a multimillion dollar company in the middle of the park would have some advantages though. :)

Can someone enlighten me why we'd have the smallest player in the team playing in defence? I could count the headers he won last season on one hand. With a lot of championship teams built around big physical players, I hope this is not being given serous consideration.

Actually Tabb won quite a few headers last season, and scored a cracker with his head if I recall!! Not a bad tackler either, may do well, although I'd like to see a proper LB.

I'd like to see some money spent on a top 6 keeper.
