Connolly in Irish U21 Squad Thursday, 20th Aug 2015 11:49 Winger Dylan Connolly has been named in a provisional Republic of Ireland U21 squad for a friendly against Qatar and a Euro 2017 qualifier against Andorra early next month. The Irish youngsters take on the Qataris on Friday 4th September and are in Andorra four days later. Connolly, who joined the Blues from Shelbourne in January and has been on the first-team bench on a number of occasions but so far without making his debut, has previously won four U21 caps. In March the 20-year-old netted the winning goal as Ireland beat Andorra 1-0 in the home qualifier in Waterford.
