Why give us a date then if it's subject to change ? Can't buy train ticket and as can't get home can't book hotel either or more importantly a day off work .

I don't think it's especially fair we charged Pompey £15 when they are in return charging us £18 for a midweek game.

I understand at times lower league clubs need to cash in, but I don't agree with this. Especially when it's clubs that are run how Pompey have been.

Last season both us and Saints did £10 a pop which was good.

Not a case of one club deciding on prices in the FA Cup, is decided between both and the FA.

Pompey wanted £18 for the first game, but we stood firm on £15. Right decision, given the (surprise) 17000 crowd.

What is our allocation? Do you reckon we will get 6,000?

normal ground allocation is 2,000 but can be raised to 3,200

@sidtheswan: I don't think there's too much danger of this match being chosen for live TV coverage. Not when you look at the appeal of some of the other ties, e.g. Aston Villa vs Wycombe, Leicester vs Tottenham, Newport vs Blackburn, Bolton vs Eastleigh and Liverpool vs Exeter. Plus the BBC might remember the damp squib that was our replay against Southampton last season. However, I agree with your sentiment in that I don't understand why the decision hasn't yet been made.

Too expensive
Too far to travel
Too long a journey
Too likely to get beaten
Too much trouble all round

If we get anything like 2000 away supporters, to a mid-week game with a League 2 side that has already outplayed us at our place, I'd be surprised - but very happy.
