Won't win, he's a defender. Next.

i think itfc fans should vote for chambers wether you agree or not with him playing or how he's been playing. he's our captain and definitely has passion for the club and is a real team motivator. should he get this award or get a good turnout of votes it would surely boost his confidence and gives us fans a chance to back the players even more. our other players may see chambers get the award and could motivate them further as they've seen a fellow player get recognised for his hard work he puts in to the club. back the team as much as we can and it can only help improve our performances on the pitch. coyb

I 100% agree, Chambers has improved massively in right back. unfortunately some won't admit that because he's not a fashionable choice but we certainly have worse positions on the pitch. Central midfield for one (perhaps Bishop will improve that)

Spot on theipswichman, I really think some of the stick he gets is un-necessary, he's a centre back and has done a fine job in the right back slot, sometimes he does get caught out but all our defenders have done at times this season.

Placed my vote!

Agree TractorCam. Nice to see Chambers being nominated for an award, which would be well deserved. He's a good leader and Captain, as well as being good with the fans. He's got a great presence on the field and nice to see him using that more often, esp in a more attacking role.

P.S Thought the defending in the Watford away match last season was excellent and I actually managed to buy a few pics of that fantastic block he made in the first half of that game from the Watford Observer (as none available from either Ipswich or Watford clubs on social media) .

Defo he should win! For f**fs sake he's one of our own and single handedly give us fans some great passionate moments with his fist pumps whether you think its a bit cheesy! you take what you get with Ipswich and he gives a lot to the overall spirit of the team.
