Online Player of the Year Voting Under Way
Online Player of the Year Voting Under Way
Tuesday, 29th Mar 2016 14:39

Online voting for this season’s Supporters’ Player of the Year award has started on the Supporters Club’s website.

Votes will also be collected around the ground at the Charlton game by volunteers next to the programme kiosks, while there will be a box on the ground floor of Planet Blue from Thursday of this week.

Last year Daryl Murphy carried off the gong with the previous season's winner Christophe Berra second and Kevin Bru third.

Tickets for the Player Awards Evening on Saturday 9th April have now sold out. However, if anyone wants to come along contact Elizabeth Edwards via officialitsc@btinternet.com or 07968 876504 in order to be added to a reserve list in case of returns.

This season is the first I can remember with no clear winner, Jay Tabb maybe?

Shouldn't be many votes to count up.

The strikers haven't been scoring many, so none of them. The midfield has been poor apart from Fraser (who didn't play enough due to injury) and Skuse - who could be a choice. Bialkowski has been great, but not enough appearances for the award. So, a defender. Certainly not the full backs, so a centre back perhaps. Smith or Berra have both been good but not great I'd say, and no MOTM awards on this website all season. Going back to midfield Skuse has one MOTM award at MK Dons, but no goals all season. It's easier to rule players out than pick one!

Frazer walks it by a country mile for me even only playing half of the games , only flair player in a very average dull to watch side .
Reminds me of a few seasons ago when Bullard won it for a handful of games , mainly because everyone else entertained little ?

I'd like to vote for Z "none of the above" as they've all been sh1te !!!! If we have to vote for one of our own players it has to be Bart. Massively showed up the idiot managers decision to play Gerk the Berk ahead of him. But if we can vote for anyone it is CLEARLY Ryan Frazer who is streets ahead of any player ITFC owns and is the ONLY player to wear the famous shirt this season who could ever play premiership football. The rest are league 1 at best !!!! Teddy Bishop is excluded from this and has still been more useful than most of them !!!

Sears , They guy has been played out of the wing but has worked his arse off nearly every game he has been played in...not many stand out (Fraser apart)..but Sears IMO is one player that is not at fault for our style off play and deserves more from MM and no lack of credit for his commitment.

I have to agree with shortmarine, Sears is my choice too. I can't remember him having a poor game this season, even if his goal tally isn't as high as we (or he) would like. Admittedly, that's as much to do with other players ruling themselves out with too many under-par performances as him playing well though.

Only one player has kept us where we are, and thats our Polish Bart man, surely he has to be considered

Bart would get my vote. Mr Consistent who has earned us a few extra points.
Tremendous attitude as well.
I would also say that Sears and Pitman have done well too.

Vote Bart

Hasn't done much wrong and came back better than ever when dropped through no fault of his own

Would send a bit of statement to MM if he won

Is there an option to vote for the fans, they deserve the recognition for putting up with the dross served up at PR this year.

For me, Frazer was on course but now I think Bart deserves it. He's won MOTM for most of the last 10 games and has found form and consistency when the rest of the team haven't. In addition, Bart has had to fight for his place and faced a lot of criticism early on which makes his achievement all the more impressive.

I get why Bart may get quite a few votes , but i tend to think that he was OK at the start of the season..but not outstanding...then he was not playing (which he maybe should have been but MM stuck with Gerk,s)..where as Sears has been ever present this season and worked his arse off..other players either have not been present all season (Fraser being a example) )or simply not done a great job this season (loads of em..!!)
