Town Reveal New Home Kit
Monday, 8th May 2017 19:08

Town have revealed their new home kit for the 2017/18 season.

The traditional-looking Adidas strip, which sees a return to white shorts, is available for pre-order from ITFC Direct or from Planet Blue from 9am tomorrow.

Speaking recently to BBC Radio Suffolk's Life's a Pitch, MD Ian Milne said he felt it was a kit that would go down well with supporters: “I’ve seen it and it’s traditional and I think fans will love it.”

Town say the new away kit, which we understand to be red and along the same lines as the home strip, will be revealed before the end of the month.

Fans pre-ordering before 3pm on Tuesday 23rd May will got into a draw with prizes including a season ticket for the campaign ahead.

Would be better with a different name on the front.

Great to have white shorts again.

The shirt seems a bit plain. To be honest I liked the stripes as it meant the ME logo didn't show up so much!

Home grown players have so much more passion about the club than new signings!! Tommy smith and Luke Hyam instead of Coke Skuse and Christophe Berra next year!!

Just need some quality players to wear it !

Stick a proper white collar on that and you're onto a winner.

Would be so much better with the stripes on the sleeves. Looks very strange with them down the sides. Personally I prefer the white sleeves of the current shirt, but hey...each to their own!

I actually like it. But I won't be buying it as I point blank refuse to promote 'Marcus Evans'.

Now that is a promotion winning shirt.

Close to the awesome 1978 kit.

COYB.

It's alright! A little too Chelsea for me. The kids will get it for me on Father's Day as per usual.

Kit looks sweet.

The #NeverFollow hashtag is terrible though. I get that Adidas use it, but in this case when we are potentially losing fans it seems really out of place.

Now if we could just find something decent to put on the insides of these shirts we might get somewhere next season.
I won't be buying one this year, can't afford it as they have cut my senior citizen rate.

Like it a lot but will never purchase one whilst that mans name is splashed all over the front!

A welcome change as slightly more traditional and certainly an improvement on this years abomination.

Let's hope it's the incentive for a more traditional ITFC approach in in other areas to, such as a club that shows a little respect to its supporters through entertainment, fair pricing and communications that don't insult our intelligence.

8/10. If only there was a decent shirt sponsor. I like the GK kit, and white shorts...proof the club can listen?!

Ye gods - for the first time in a while, I can actually say that I LIKE our home kit. We will look like Ipswich Town next season - let's hope we can play like them!

Like that.

Same design in black and white for the away kit would be good, with the current white away as a third choice.

Suffering from a major problem for me.

It still has Marcus Evans on it!

Just get another Wark, Gates, Mariner and Brazil to fill them.

Just noticed the stripes on the side. I like that.

Assume the delay was due to Marcus not being sure he was still going to own the club, so that's one massively needed change down the proverbial. Still, we could lose the other two muppets
