Town Reveal New Home Kit
Monday, 8th May 2017 19:08

Town have revealed their new home kit for the 2017/18 season.

The traditional-looking Adidas strip, which sees a return to white shorts, is available for pre-order from ITFC Direct or from Planet Blue from 9am tomorrow.

Speaking recently to BBC Radio Suffolk's Life's a Pitch, MD Ian Milne said he felt it was a kit that would go down well with supporters: “I’ve seen it and it’s traditional and I think fans will love it.”

Town say the new away kit, which we understand to be red and along the same lines as the home strip, will be revealed before the end of the month.

Fans pre-ordering before 3pm on Tuesday 23rd May will got into a draw with prizes including a season ticket for the campaign ahead.

Yes blue shirt and white shorts how the town should look when playing at home just need some players to wear it with pride and just maybe a manager who can inspire them

It's not the shirt it's self, but what's in it that counts.

I shall be wearing my old shirts until this regime changes

At least they've got Bart in the promo shots and not Gerken - hopefully that means he's staying 🤞🏻

Love the new shirt shame we still have Marcus' name on the front! I would like to go into the draw but if I win I don't want the season ticket, unless mick has gone that is.

Yungblue. Are you for real??? Luke Hyam is hopeless period. Even Rotheram got rid of him ASAP. Tommy Smith would be at best a backup for a good player. The whole squad is paper thin on talent and with Micks awful leadership we are in the poo neck deep.

Why is the dressing room full of smoke?

Enjoy wearing those shiny new shirts next season boys to a half empty stadium! The fact of the matter is far too many of you, the management, and hierarchy have been idle, coasting at best, for best part of two years now! As you sow, so shall you reap!

Retro looking kit but personally couldn't care if we played in bin liners with the club badge on if we substituted looking fashionable for half decent deck football and worthy of at least £25 of entertainment on a saturday afternoon - priorities folks!

I'll buy your kits when you start buying some quality players, Mr Evans.

Quite like the kit, but the advert is nauseating. Basically, 'but the shirt or you don't fit in'!

I think that's a decent effort.

I actually like it best kit for years, only problem is the bloody logo on the front of it, any way it can be purchased without it?

Quite like the kit design (albeit like this years Chelsea home kit), although I do wish we would go back to the old Royal Blue of the 70s and 80s and 99/00.

It isn't the shirt that wins games it's the people in them, lets please have a bit more passion about our play next season, this season is best forgotten!!

Like the shirt though, hate 'fancy' kits.

I cannot believe some people are getting orgasmic over a f#cking shirt considering the state of the club now ,THE SHIRT STYLE is the last thing that needs changing ,who wants to promote Evans ,a pic of Micky Mouse would be more appropriate.

Like others have said, this is the best design in ages. Nice and simple.

Like others have said, I won't be buying it as it has Marcus Evans on the front.

Aye nice looking stripes.... but ehmmm instead of the pretty lame "Marcus Evans" yet again, I had personally much preferred it said the imho much more fitting:

I would have preferred the three stripes on the arms and no Marcus Evans on the front , I despise the man, he has taken this club back years, how about next time we go back to the yellow on the club badge , red will never be ITFC ,I presume we will be wearing orange & black as our second kit ?Wont buy as I won't walk around with the name of a freeloader on my shirt # Evans out # mick out

Not bad at all, pity about the name on the front which means I will not buy it.

floridablue added 02:38 - May 9
I like it, but personally would not buy a shirt with any name across the front be it Evans or any sponsor. Here in Orlando so many choices of designs for the "purple lions" shirt that for me, up in my in my senior years, i can still chose a purple shirt without all the add ons!
