Wednesday, 2nd Aug 2017 09:13

Town’s U23s play their final pre-season friendly against Bury Town at Ram Meadow this evening (KO 7.30pm).

Gerard Nash’s side started their pre-season programme with a 0-0 draw at Felixstowe and Walton, then lost 3-1 at AFC Sudbury and won 2-1 at Coggeshall, before a 4-3 loss at King’s Lynn last time out.

The game will see Blues academy youngster Bailey Clements face his older brother Kyran who will be in action for the Bostik League North Division side. Entry on the gate costs £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.

actually think it may be a good for a few of those on the fringes to get a game or 60 minutes. Even the likes of Chambers and McGoldrick could do with some minutes.

Nash looks like he's about to back-hand his missus in the above snap!

A good game, both sides kept it on the deck and passed the ball well. Let's hope the first team do the same on Saturday!
