Mick McCarthy’s pre-match press conference ahead of the opening game of the season against Birmingham City at Portman Road will be shown live on TWTV from 1pm on Friday afternoon.

In a first, the club is allowing McCarthy’s meetings with the press ahead of matches to be broadcast live online.

1RWR added 17:34 - Aug 4 As much as I dislike MM, that was a pretty good interview. There were clear signs that he didn't like Phil or Phil's questions for whatever reason. I thought Brenner Wooley asked some pertinent questions as well. What was MM meant to say "we're $hite, you're $hite, we're going down?" Give the man a little slack, if he f***s up in the first half dozen games then I'm sure the fans will tell him.
