Moore Hits Hat-Trick for Rotherham Saturday, 12th Aug 2017 20:42
On-loan Blues frontman Kieffer Moore netted a first-half hat-trick as Rotherham smashed Southend 5-0 in League One.
The 25-year-old striker scored in the 15th and 16th minutes before completing his treble in first-half injury time.
Moore came on as a 68th minute sub in last week’s 2-0 defeat at Fleetwood before making his first start in the Carabao Cup win against Lincoln on Tuesday.
Blues right-back Josh Emmanuel, 20, has started all three of this season's games for the Millers.
Moore, like Emmanuel on loan at the New York Stadium for the season, is now joint-top scorer in League One with his three goals, along with ex-Blues striker Jack Marriott, who netted a hat-trick of his own in Peterborough’s 4-1 win at Bristol Rovers. Another former Blue, defender Steven Taylor, scored the other Posh goal.

Perfect level for Moore to play in. Looks like he's scoring plenty of goals, which is great for him and potentially us. Looked out of his depth in the championship, so this move can only be a good thing and who knows he may be back scoring for us next season!
Good for the lad... and possibly for us too - if he has a great season for them, it's another step up from non league and towards the Championship... and we have either a confident striker on our hands, or a very saleable asset.
I'm sure Moore can be good enough for a higher level ( needs a certain team style too) and Emanuel Emanuel involved our acadamys are bearing fruit,as our first eleven is showing.
Im not entirely sure why, but I've been pro Moore from the off. A hat trick at any level is an achievement and shows good potential. If he continues to progress then he will bring another dimension to our squad (big man up front) something we don't possess at the { 'MO' :-(} }
MM saw potential when he signed him but he is inexperienced and needs a consistant run if games. This loan could be the making of him. Well done kiefer! Bang in a few more and you will be a valuable addition to us in January
Seaside JimmyP45 ...Paul Taylor now plays for Bradford ...Taylor currently only making it on from bench so whether it's lack of match fitness...or an ongoing attitude issue.....real shame ..liked him a lot ...had high hopes when he initially came !,
