U23s Lose at Coventry

Town’s U23s fell to only their second defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 by Coventry City at the Alan Higgs Centre this afternoon, New Zealand international Monty Patterson netting for the young Blues.
The result will see the Sky Blues leapfrog Gerard Nash’s side, who had won their previous four games, at the head of the Professional Development League Two South table, while QPR's 2-1 victory at Watford pushed the Town youngsters down to third.
Defender Adam Webster played the full 90 minutes as he made his second U23s appearance as he continues his comeback from his ankle injury.
U23s: Wright, D Crowe, Clements, Nbada, Webster, Webber, McKendry (Foudil 70), McLoughlin, Folami, Morris, Patterson (Dobra 60). Unused: M Crowe, Marshall, Daniels.
