McCarthy's Pre-Middlesbrough Press Conference Postponed
Thursday, 7th Dec 2017 10:40

Boss Mick McCarthy’s pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s game at Middlesbrough, which was scheduled for 1pm today, has been postponed until midday tomorrow as the Blues manager is ill.

Bersant Celina will still be speaking to the media at lunchtime and you can read what the on-loan Manchester City man has to say on TWTD later this afternoon.

Get well soon Mick!

We have an opportunity to do something special tomorrow at Middlesbrough - no one expects us to win and hopefully our opponents may physiologically take us lightly, and we may play near to our maximum and get a result!

COYB!

Last time Mick was ill we played Middlesbrough and won 4-0 under TC's management, is it a sign?

In all seriousness, get well soon Mick!

We can wait and lets hope he can do it without the snide comments about the derogatory chants he got which he took to heart although it was not nice the fans do not wantonly do it it was in response to the bland, negative and boring football on display which the fans had paided hard earned money to support their team.
After the encouraging display against Notts Forest which we hope can continue lets all put the past behind us everybody has had a say on both sides so call it a score draw and move on with a clean sheet support the club and team the higher and greater days.

Keep him out of the way of the team if he's got something flu-like.
We can easily get by without his dull view on the opposition, also if he misses tomorrow, he won't upset little Phil too.

A touch insensitive eh, chorry? Shouldn't have expected any better, I suppose.
Hoping all the team are fine and fit come Saturday.

Wasn't Mccarthy under the weather when we thumped Boro at home a few years back? Could be an omen! Get well soon Mick!

Get well soon Mick! To be fair to him I think he has done some necessary changes from last season. Boro away will be a tough game, and we need a Derby-esque performance.
