 Thursday, 20th Jun 2002 10:56 UEFA have announced the groups for tomorrow's UEFA Cup qualifying round draw. Town's opponents will be drawn from a list of five unseeded teams. The Blues will face one of Fylkir (Iceland), Bangor City (Wales), NK Å iroki Brijeg (Bosnia), SK Tirana (Albania) or FC Avenir Beggen (Luxembourg). None of the sides have a UEFA coefficient above three, Fylkir's 2.416 being the highest, Town's is 35.729. According to UEFA the ten groups are based on geographical criteria and their coefficient ranking system. Nine of the groups comprise of eight clubs with the final group, Town's, involving ten sides. Half of each group is made up of seeded sides, half unseeded. The other seeded teams in Town's group are Excelsior Mouscron (Belgium), FK Sartid (Yugoslavia), FK VTJ KOBA Senec (Slovakia) and FC National Bucuresti (Romania). Town are the top seeded club involved at this stage of the competition. The draw is on Friday at 11am and is held at the NOGA Hilton Hotel, Geneva.
