Town left-back Jonas Knudsen has been named in the Denmark squad for their friendly against Slovakia and opening UEFA Nations League fixture with Wales next month.

The Danes play the Slovakians away in Malatinskeho on Wednesday 5th September and then take on the Welsh at the Aarhus Stadion four days later.

Knudsen has won four caps, the most recent the World Cup round-of-16 match defeat to Croatia.

Maltster added 14:28 - Aug 20 Strange isn't it. The Ipswich Star always mark JK below all the other defenders after Town's games even when he is excellent ! The Aston Villa game was the best I have seen at Portman Road for a long time. Only the first half against West Ham comes near to it.
