Crowe in England U18s Squad

Academy right-back Dylan Crowe has been named in the England U18s squad for the Limoges Tournament next month.

The Young Lions face Holland on Wednesday 5th September, Russia two days later and hosts France on Sunday 9th September.

Crowe, 17, who was linked with a host of clubs in July including Manchester United, won nine caps at U17 level last season having previously played for England at U15 and U16 levels.

England U18s: Ajibola-Joshua Alese (West Ham United), Xavier Amaechi (Arsenal), Faustino Anjorin (Chelsea), Arvin Appiah (Nottingham Forest), Luca Ashby-Hammond (Fulham), Folarin Balogun (Arsenal), Dylan Crowe (Ipswich Town), Vontae Daley-Campbell (Arsenal), Marcus Dewhurst (Sheffield United), James Garner (Manchester United), Anthony Gordon (Everton), Mason Greenwood (Manchester United), Tyreece John-Jules (Arsenal), Curtis Jones (Liverpool), Ethan Laird (Manchester United), Bali Mumba (Sunderland), Nathanael Ogbeta (Manchester City), Arthur Okonkwo (Arsenal), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Keyendrah Simmonds (Manchester City), Rayhaan Tulloch (West Bromwich Albion).

Would like to see him play a game before he goes to a top team

It's very ominous that, as one of our brightest young players, he has already turned 17 and NOT signed his first professional contract.

I suspect he will be snaffled away by one of the big boys before too long.
