Surely this is a good thing for season ticket holders. We are being given the opportunity to buy tickets on the cheap are we not?

A little confused Nazemariner. I have my season ticket and don't want anymore tickets, so why is it a good thing for season ticket holders?

FOR CRYING OUT LOAD THE "CLUB" IS A BUSINESS, A BUSINESS THAT RELYS ON BUMS ON SEATS TO PAY THE BILLS. THE MORE BUMS THE MORE MONEU THE CLUB HAS TO BUY PLAYERS PAY THE BILLS

IF YOU BUY A SEASON TICKET YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD A DISCOUNT ON STANDARD PRICE SEATING. BUT THEN FURTHER REWARDED WITH AN OPTION FOR A DISCOUNTED TICKETS TO BUY FRIENDS AND FAMILY

IF YOU DONT BUY A SEASON TICKET(LIKE ME ) YOU ACCEPT YOU PAY FULL PRICE ON THE DOOR AS I HAVE THE 1ST 5 GAMES THIS SEASON,

THOSE OF YOU BEING NEGATIVE ON THIS PROMOTION ARE ALSO THE ONES NEGATIVE ABOUT THE MANAGER THE SIGNINGS WEVE MADE.... IF WR FILLED THE GROUND EVERY WEEK THEN WE WOULD HAVE MORE KOWNY TO BUY BETTER PLAYERS AND HIGHER A BETTER QUALITY MANAGER ( ROSS, LAMPARD?)

rant over ... COYB

Why are people moaning about this? I expect it from Swn98 because his messiah isnt here anymore and he feels hes being screwed over EVEN THOUGH we do this every season so should know there will be a couple of games where they do this again surely?

Dad's a season ticket holder, as are uncles, cousins and other members of their family. My family of 5 aren't as we live 300 mile round trip away, so difficult and costly to attend all games, so no season tickets for us. Fuel alone is £60+ before food & drink, any hotels etc. All adds up. Avid fan all my life and attended too many games to count so not like I'm only going for the discount. However, this offer offsets those costs so it works well for us as a family at £27, and we have the excuse to see the extended family too, so no complaints from me. Well done, Town. Hopefully we shall finally grab a win.

As a season ticket holder I'm delighted the club is running ticket promotions .... we need to fill the stadium and entice as many young fans/families as possible ... who knows we might even have a new manager by the time QPR come to Town.

I don't understand the people that complain about season ticket holders not getting anything back when Town do these promotions. We pay a lot less by owning a season ticket even with the occasional discount.

I work out that if you sit in lower north (like me) and pay £25 for each individual game it will cost £575 for the season, my season ticket is about £380 for the year. Therefore if we did 3 games a season for £10 the non season ticket holder would still pay a total of £530 to attend all games.

So now shut up and just be happy that we'll have more bums on seats!!!

No incentive for anyone not from the town or knows any ST holders then. Why not just make it £10 a ticket for everyone?

As a Season Ticket holder I don't object to offers like this as long as it is done only a couple of times a Season. But there was a time when it was done so many times in one term that it deterred Season Ticket holders from renewing. QPR has been picked as the decision makers regard this as an eminently winnable game. I remember a special offer for the Rotherham game two seasons ago - Rotherham had not won away all season yet we made then look like World-beaters and they won ! It is a dangerous game to play.
