Blues left-back Jonas Knudsen has been named in the Denmark squad for their UEFA Nations League game against the Republic of Ireland and friendly with Austria during the international break.

The Danes take on Ireland in Dublin on Saturday 13th October, then they host the Austrians in Herning three days later.

Knudsen, 25, who has won four full caps, will meet up with the squad following Town’s weekend game at Swansea.

Elizabeth, you're getting Real Madrid muddled up with Skied Oslo (who doesn't?). We beat the Norwegian side 7-0 on this day, and held Real to a goalless draw away having beaten them at home - but not, sadly, by 7. There's a nice piece about the home and away legs in The Kevin Beattie Story...

He has not been good this season.... he was shocking against Middlesbrough - doesn't close the ball, poor control.... even worse distribution and ducks out of every header [has he ever won a contested header].... would rather see Pennington Nsaila and Chambers with Kenlock and Donacion as a back 5....

He will be alright against Martin O'Neill/Roy Keane's Ireland - we're not setting the world alight right now!
