Lambert to Answer Fans' Questions at Thursday's Meet the Club Event
Monday, 29th Oct 2018 12:28

New boss Paul Lambert will join MD Ian Milne and other members of Town staff in answering questions from fans at the annual Meet the Club event prior to the Supporters Club’s AGM in Legends Bar on Thursday (7pm start, bars open from 6.30pm).

Supporter liaison officer Elizabeth Edwards told TWTD: “It is fantastic that Paul has agreed to meet the fans so early in his time with Town. It will give us a chance to hear his impressions but especially to welcome him to the club.”

Lambert will open the evening by answering questions from the floor for around 30 to 45 minutes before handing over to Milne and the club’s off-field department heads, including finance director Mark Andrews, club secretary Stuart Hayton, director of sales Rosie Richardson, director of retail operations Lee Hyde, head of ticketing Donna Powell and media manager Steve Pearce, as well as Tim Claydon from Centerplate, who provide the club’s concourse catering.

Proof of Supporters Club membership will need to be provided at the door. For further information on the Meet the Club event contact supporters liaison officer Elizabeth Edwards via eaedwards78@gmail.com.

More information on the Supporters Club AGM, which will follow the Meet the Club event at 8.30pm, can be obtained from acting chair Mark Ramsay via officialitsc@gmail.com.

Good for PL. at least his got a a pair of stones. Let's face it, we're not an attractive proposition at the moment. We could do a lot worse than Lambert. I don't give an airborne intercourse if he managed Norwich, we need to unite as fans now and fully get behind him.

Could be interesting. Havent been to one of these for years but will try to get there for this.

To be fair there is nothing for anyone to have a go at him with yet, apart from the Norwich connection, which will be pathetic if that happens, but he didnt have to attend and credit to him for doing so.

Aside from listening to respecting & getting behind P L, someone needs to take the Centreplate rep to task the way they are running it is worse than Sunday league!!

Look at the disgraceful behaviour some of the fans sorry morons gave to Marshall because he played for Norwich, can't see them being any different to Lambert.

Yes I know Marshall was not the best keeper we had but he still should not have had to put up with the abuse.

KF why do you see the need to keep having a go at our own fans?
Most fans of other clubs far more vitriolic than Ipswich fans who for the most part unless particularly antagonized remain fair and somewhat placid.

I am sure most will be happy to support PL if progress is seen in time on the pitch.

Rumour has it that Mcarthy is going to be his assistant.

I'd like to ask (if I was going ) "will he bring back loans soon in order to assess the whole squad?".
Particularly as some aren't playing much

Just watched the interview with Paul lambert , he seems a very genuine guy, we should of got him from the start instead of PH who destroyed our side really , all the talented ones all gone , will be a very hard season . It will be a miracle for anyone to keep us up this season but you never know. Fingers crossed we can manage a few wins b4 the January window.

If Mcarthy had been give a big transfer kitty who knows we may of been in the premiership by now, , Evans is a shrewd business man, but not much idea about how best to run a football club shame really
