Town Ball 19 in FA Cup Draw
Monday, 3rd Dec 2018 12:25

Town will be ball number 19 in this evening’s draw for the third round of the FA Cup.

The draw, which will be carried out by Ruud Gullit and Paul Ince, takes place live on BBC1 at 7.30pm. Third round ties will be played between Friday 4th and Monday 7th January.

We'll probably get Woking away...and be the major upset of the 3rd round.

Really can't see us getting very far...

Is it worrying, that there isn't one team in that list that I'd be confident of us beating? On that basis, we'd be better of playing a Prem team, as we'd have nothing to lose.

Home draw against top six premier opposition. Be good to have a full house at Portman Road even though in all likelihood we'd get a hiding.

It would be a real achievement to get into the next round draw, I am 56 so remember when we did cup runs.
It strikes me that there are fans alive now who have never seen us in the 4th round.

GFH most of the people on here epitomize everything that's wrong with this club. Miserable through and through

Heard they're replacing the Ipswich ball in the hat for a malteser, whoever draws it out will just eat it and other team gets a bye!

Please, please, one of the rank outsiders at home. Put a full strength team out and get a win, just to get that feeling of confidence back..

Ipwicht62old boy re your comment I can remember watching us lose 2-3 at home to a midland league Peterborough at the tender age of 7 and 3qtrs and it remains with to this day!!!! of course in the coming seasons we did a bit better.

Home tie against a top 6 Prem team or Norwich would do nicely. Let's have some excitement and show a bit of bravery.
