Oxford Confirm Graham Loan Signing
Wednesday, 26th Dec 2018 09:58

Oxford United have confirmed that Blues loanee Jordan Graham will join them on loan from Wolves on January 2nd.

The 23-year-old had been due to stay with Town for the whole season but is not been in manager Paul Lambert’s plans and has been on trial with the League One side, with whom he previously had a loan spell in 2015, since late October.

Graham, who also had a short stint with Town in 2013/14, rejoined the club on loan from Wolves in August and made three starts and one sub appearance without scoring under Paul Hurst but did not feature under Lambert.

With the winger's exit now confirmed and injured ex-skipper Jon Walters's half-season spell up at the start of the month, the Blues will go into January with four players on loan - Trevoh Chalobah, Tayo Edun, who is currently back at Fulham with an eye injury, Matthew Pennington and until confirmation of his permanent leave to remain arrives, Janoi Donacien - with five permitted in a matchday squad.

Need to get Donacian sorted and Tayo released from his loan , that would give PL 4 places on loan to play with , alas i still have no faith in ME though.!.if he gives PL full backing we might just get out of the mess we arein without full backing..i just can,t see it unfortunately as the current squad as it stands is not good enough..(and get rid of Adwyemi if we can.!! a total waste of wages)

No shame to see him gone let's be honest. Also why is this Donacien perm seal visa issue taking so long? So much for it will be sorted "shortly".

Does not seem to matter much with Donacien as he has never played since PL has been in charge ?
It seems PL. does not seem very keen to pay out £750.000 for him, another one of Mr. Wursts selective deals.

A bit of a panic loan by Paul Hurst to bolster numbers.
On another note what is going on with Adeyemi? Is he going to kick a ball for us again?

Best thing would be for Donacien to be refused. PL doesn't rate him, neither do I and would be a good excuse to save £750,000 and spend elsewhere

I never had a lot of time for folk on TWTD lambasting ME over PH's signings. The former may be culpable over many things but.....if you appoint a manager (presumably on merit) you simply have to trust his judgement. Imagine how people would have moaned at the start of the season if ME appeared to nix signings that PH wanted to make. We'd all have heard ‘Bah! Typical Evans!' I'm sure he didn't expect to repent at leisure but hey, sh*t happens.
