Friday, 29th Mar 2019 09:57

The ITFC Supporters Club will be around the ground in a number of locations from 12.30pm until 2.50pm ahead of tomorrow’s game against Hull City taking votes for this season’s Player of the Year award.

They will be in the FanZone, at the Sir Alf Ramsey Way entrances to the East Of England Co-Op Stand, the Sir Bobby Robson Stand next to Planet Blue, inside the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand turnstiles and near the shop.

This year’s vote is likely to be be closer than it has been for a long time so every vote will count. You can also vote online via the Supporters Club’s website which will be live until Tuesday.

The Supporters Club also has a limited number of tickets still available for their Awards Night on Saturday 13th April after the Birmingham game.

Tickets, which will be on sale in the FanZone, are priced at £5 for adults and £2 for children. All net proceeds raised this year will go to The Beat Goes On, the Kevin Beattie statue appeal.

Surely it must be a close battle between Bluey or Crazy...

People will likely vote chambers. And in a way it's acceptable and I understand as he's a good leader. But in my book that doesn't make you player of the year. Pennington or chalobah for me

Blimey, tough call. Chambers.......you must be joking. Even in his brief stint I would say Judge. Nolan gas done OK since Lambert arrived.

We've one of the worst defensive records in the entire country,so I don't
think any defenders deserve it,then again the strikers have barely
scored a goal between them,so it should probably go to one of the
midfielders,which one is anybody's guess.

I've voted for young Jack Lankaster. None of the senior players deserve it, but despite not playing too many games, he has achieved more than most of the others put together.

I personally won't ever vote a loan as player of the season.

itfchorry.....Totally agree.
I think this year, knowing what is happening, no one should be given an accolade that symbolises success and instead a recognition should go out to the fans as they have supported in a positive way and applauded and encouraged the whole season which must have given the team a lift even in dreadful performances.
Either way Town fans....My vote goes to you all and not to an individual player as no one (in my opinion) deserves it.

My vote would go to Martin 587 goes to every home and away match and always finds time to add a non biased comment. Of course he may not be the only one.

My vote goes to Tom Adeyemi. He's the only table topper we've had all season, he's been on top of the treatment table all season while the rest of our players have been stuck at the bottom of their table.

Best player for Ipswich over the entire season: Matt Pennington; most successful Ipswich player over the season: Luke Woolfenden. Can't vote for Judge as he hasn't saved us like Jimmy Bullard did, even though he has been our best player since he has arrived.
