Trialist defender Ethan Patterson is in action for the Blues U23s at Leeds United this evening (KO 7pm).
Centre-half Patterson, 18, currently with Aston Villa, is a twice-capped Northern Ireland U19 international.
Also on the Blues bench is striker Colin Oppong, who joined the acdemy from Cliftonville in Northern Ireland in January, who has been a sub for the U18s for the last couple of games.
Leeds have named a strong side featuring first-teamers Adam Forshaw, Gaetano Berardi and Izzy Brown.
Town have been confirmed as winners of Professional Development League Two South, while Leeds have won League Two North. Both teams will have home advantage in the play-off semi-finals.
Town U23s: Egan, Cotter, Webber, Patterson, Ndaba, McGavin, Dobra, Foudil, K Brown, Z Brown, Simpson. Subs: Alley, Oppong, Smith, Ruffles.
