Lambert: Judge Has Indicated He'd Like the Opportunity
Tuesday, 23rd Jul 2019 22:43 by Darren Campbell

Blues manager Paul Lambert confirmed that midfielder Alan Judge has indicated that he wants to join QPR, who have made two bids for the Republic of Ireland international.

The West Londoners, who are managed by Judge’s former Brentford boss Mark Warburton, have had offers of £250,000 and £450,000 rebuffed by the Blues.

“Judge has spoken to me and I think he would like to go, it's his prerogative to say what he wants to do,” Lambert said.

“I don't know, I'm not sure with it. He's spoken to me and I guess it's over to Judgey and see what he wants to do and if he just let us know one way or another but I think he wants to. I really don't know at this minute.”

QPR have until the Championship transfer window closes on August 8th to continue their pursuit of 30-year-old Judge, who only signed a new two-year deal with the Blues in April.

Lambert has previously described the Dubliner as a key man and he says he will be an important player if he remains at Portman Road after the deadline.

“He has to be, there's no two ways,” the Town manager added. “If you're here, you have to play your absolute heart for the club, we have a big fan base behind us.

“But I think he's got to be clear in his own head. I think at the minute he's up and down with it. He's done well for us last season. I've had chats with him and he's indicated that he'd like the opportunity.”

Hahahaha ITFC73, the rubbish I come out with, who is the guy that believes ME has been biding his time spending circa £100mil (and not finished yet) just so he can buy the ground off the Council to build starter homes!!
Brilliant.

That the best you can come up with bluearmy-81, I can answer questions about the points I make.
I presume that the answer doesn't fit with the points you seek to make and therefore you are unable to come back with anything credible.
No change there!!

Rabbit before you become obnoxious with me as well as everyone else you said net spend that to me is wages and everything else? Maybe make yourself entirely clear as wages is part of a clubs net spend. I don't feel we need to spend millions like derby etc however we DO need the wage budget comparable to the Norwich and sheff utds of this world to compete THAT is where we fall behind everyone else, when Norwich can afford a back up striker like Rhodes and we can't do have to get a bargain from lower league. now facts are mick said a couple of years back our wage budget was comparable to burton Albion's that was also proven in EADT that's our issue we have no ambition to compete so we have to trawl lower leagues for journeymen who cannot get in a league two side maybe if we'd had the wage budget last year to get a replacement for waghorn like a Rhodes on a free or loan and pay their wages we wouldn't be moaning and the likes of you wouldn't be going on about losing another 9 million we didn't and now he has if you're happy with that then that's up to you but don't be obnoxious to fans who have a different opinion and facts when you dont

BBP obnoxious please explain in what way I have been obnoxious to you.
For the record I was correcting a specific point made by another poster, please check back, you then questioned where I got the information from in respect of that response and I have answered you, quite politely, how I came to that answer.
Again what have I written in response to you that is remotely obnoxious?

“SURELY you can cast your mind back a year” you moan about comments made towards you maybe look at those at others.
So now then this net spend and where we are would you like to see net spend in the championship over the past 5 years o can show you were not even top twenty and the likes of teams like Barnsley have actually spent more with less gates as have numerous others then you Evans supporters wonder why we're in league one or don't care? Budget equal to that of burton and wonder why we're in the same discussion now. So your facts and figures show nothing other than were under spending compared to other clubs with lower gates exactly why the likes of myself won't support the owner whether there's anyone else to replace him or not why shouldn't people have a go at him or make banners or protest bloody right he should know what he's done to this once talked about family club!

BBP you seriously consider that comment obnoxious, you must be a really sensitive chap, there is absolutely nothing whatever obnoxious about that comment.
And for the record I did not capitalise "surely".
You do make some reasonable points that are there for us to debate unlike others that post out sound bite, un thought out, offensive rhetoric.
I have very often marked you up when you make a point I agree with.
But frankly if you assume bullying your opinion, by not accepting others have a view is acceptable, then I am sorry I do not and in my opinion it should not be what a forum such as this is about.
