Town’s U18s were beaten 5-3 by Sparta Rotterdam’s U19s in the second friendly of their pre-season trip to Holland earlier today.
Colin Oppong (pictured) gave the young Blues a first-minute lead but the Dutch side stormed into a 3-1 lead by half-time with Town having lost Matt Healy, Allan Viral and Louie Ferenbach to injury.
In the second half both teams netted a further two goals with Alex Henderson and Elkan Baggott on target for Town.
