Played really well just another stupid mistake like we have been making for years now.

Agree Shakytown. great to watch highlights and be predominantly Ipswich. Much more from Jackson which is encouraging. Really hoping that he and Norwood get off the mark soon, get a much need shot of confidence in them there boots.

And prebbs reappears when Chambers makes one mistake in an otherwise good performance

Can't believe yellow card for Jackson.

Usual service from Chambers. When is someone going to drop this guy?

Pragmatic you truly are an idiot. One mistake ??? What on earth were you watching?? He was shocking throughout the game. He has a left foot he only uses to stand on yet we play him at LCB. He lost headers all day to a 5ft9inch striker. He got turned inside out on numerous occasions in the second half and then he cost us 2 points. It happens game after game after game. He's a liability and you need to take off the rose coloured glasses. You're not a benefit to the team just because you shout a lot and point at opponents instead of marking them and doing your job as a footballer rather than a shouter. Without him yesterday we get 3 points FACT.

Before everyone hangs out Chambers to dry. Have a look at the highlights. He lost the ball 1 yard outside the box, he also ran nearly 50 yards to get there before making his howler. So he can run 50 yards but there was no error by the keeper who could not move 12yards from his goal line to beat them both to the ball. He also ran back but did not bother just throwing himself across goal when their player had a shot. Would he have stopped it, maybe not, but it was worth a try.
As for playing Chambers as a left sided CB, I agree , his best side is on the right side, but that would have meant Woolfenden playing left side. Once again the captain plays where he was asked,to help out, just like he did when playing right back. He puts the team before himself which most people seem to forget.
And if he was that bad why has every manager since he has been her continued to play him consistently throughout their time. Be prepared to see him at least another 40 plus games this season, injuries permitting.

Extremely well summed up Les57, if the people slating LC so mercilessly had played any amount of football at any level then they would know exactly what you are saying.

Les57 are you really trying to blame the goalkeeper for that. Your defence of Chambers is he ran 50 yards. OMG that's ok then. Would have been better if he hadn't then he couldn't make the howler. He plays where he asked to. Oh brilliant that's ok then. The fact he had to play LCB is another question to ask the owner and why we haven't brought in cover. Chambers makes errors far to often and far more than others he stays in the team because he is a big influence and a motivator all of which is great but he costs us points week after week. We need to move on from him.

I have to agree with Les57 on this one. I did not think Chambo had a bad game (howler aside obviously) . I don't think berating him will help either. You have to trust PL to pick who he see's to be the best XI for each match. Chambo must show what it takes in training to get picked. I don't think for one minute that PL would hesitate to drop him should it be necessary. That said, it was a dreadful howler that a pro with his experience should not be making. Lets hope it was one off. Overall a great team performance and should have been three points. Onward and upwards to Peterborough #COYB

As captain of this team, it is Chambers responsibility to knock on Lambert's door and say he doesn't think he's up to the job anymore. He's a useful player to have round the dressing room, but surely he will admit now that his better days are long behind him.

No not blaming goalkeeper. Just thought he should have been more awake and could have moved towards balls before Chambers made his error.
