It is amazing how Wycombe have got this winning streak going ??? Have not lost in the last 6 games, so we have got to win our next 2 home games more important the game against them ??

This will be a big test, sod the squad rotation, we need our best players for both games.

They're looking good so we need to bring them back to earth a week Tuesday.

Two wins against promotion rivals would be massive and possibly drive this team to greater levels of confidence. The momentum gained would be incredible

Time for us to bring our A game. Norwood and Jackson need game time Wednesday night to get firing for these two massive league games. Hopefully Garbutt and KVY will be on fire too.

Edmundo can't see anybody being on fire after such a long lay off. That is what usually follows a break, players not up to speed. We will see.

Brittaniaman: I suspect Wycombe's form is bourne out of playing regular weekly matches ,unlike Town's constant stop, start season! When we play our next league game many of our first team squad won't have played a competitive game in something like 3 weeks . Whilst they might be well “ rested” , they will all be off the pace mentally and even physically ( match fitness). This will show and To me this is utter madness.

I think Lambert missed a trick by not playing the full first team vs Lincoln ( thus potentially avoiding a replay, yet another game in a supposedly hectic season). Which team will he put out in the Wednesday‘s replay I wonder? What had been gained by postponing games, and fielding under strength sides?

Ps, our current league position is due largely I think to our away form. We tend to struggle at home against sides that sit men behind the ball and then hit us on the break. I don't think Town will be firing on all cylinders vs Wycombe at home nor against Blackpool in the game prior to that primarily because we simply haven't been playing regularly enough. Plus there is now pressure on us to win these now must win games (at home). Not good in my view. But I guess we shall see won't we. Fingers crossed I'm wrong on this .

I just hope that we can kickstart the home form, first on Saturday, then carry that momentum into the match against Wycombe

the games between now and New Year will be tough, .....are we tough enough ? too many breaks/postponements for my liking.

Let's hope we bring the kind of form that the September international break gave us.

On a rather different subject, did anyone notice Roy Keene's behaviour as a pundit on the England game last night? Declan Rice was dual qualified. He was part of the Irish set up under Keane, then switched to England. Even before a ball was kicked he was having a go at him denouncing him as useless and carried on right the way through.

@brittaniaman, agreed, plus with 3 games in 7 days after some players having 3 weeks without first team action, its inevitable with our bad luck that we're going to get more injuries. Guaranteed they'll be to the players we need the most too.
