Leasing.com Trophy Date to Be Confirmed After Cup Replays
Monday, 18th Nov 2019 11:26
The date of Town's round of 32 Leasing.com Trophy tie at Peterborough won’t be confirmed until after this week’s FA Cup first-round replays.
The Blues travel to Sincil Bank to take on Lincoln on Wednesday, while Posh host Stevenage on Tuesday.
If Town beat the Imps then their second round tie against Coventry at St Andrew’s will be played on Sunday 1st December (KO 2pm) and the Leasing.com Trophy tie will be on the following Wednesday.
If Town go out, then it’s likely the trip to London Road will be on the Tuesday.

For newer Town supporters perhaps, the name Colin Viljoen has disappeared into the mists of time. But for those of us who started supporting Town in the 60s his name is fondly recalled as a true great. His highlights reel alone (alas it exists only in memory) would mark him out as someone special.
Big Al by ElephantintheRoom
When the Kevin Beattie statue is revealed, I suspect it will be his great pal and fellow central defensive titan, Allan Hunter, who will do the revealing. What will be going through Big Al’s mind I wonder? Sadness at his friend’s passing – but mixed with fierce pride perhaps.
