Judge: Form Will Turn Soon
Wednesday, 8th Jan 2020 10:12

Midfielder Alan Judge is confident Town’s form will turn soon with the performance in the 1-1 draw away against leaders Wycombe on New Year’s Day something to build on.

The Blues are without a victory over 90 minutes in 12 games in all competitions, while their winless run in League One is eight - five draws and three defeats. Town, who last won in the league at Rochdale on November 5th, are down to fifth in the table.

"You’re always going to get hit with challenges. That’s what football is - ups and downs," the Irish international told iFollow Ipswich.

"There was a bit of improvement last week at Wycombe, hopefully it’s something to build on.

"We have to keep going. I’ve been at clubs where I’ve had this before and the only way you get over it is by working hard. On Saturday [when Accrington Stanley visit Portman Road], hopefully we’ll be able to turn it around.

"We’re still fifth. There’s plenty to play for. I’d rather have the blip now than March or April. Obviously it’s a longer blip than we would’ve liked. I believe it will turn soon."

Think we probably need to define ‘soon'! In the history of our club, it equates to ‘how long is a piece of string'? Still, nice to read yet another set of optimistic comments from someone who desperately needs to up his own game, and make a difference with on the pitch action, not yet more warm words. They're becoming a tad predictable and, dare I say it, pretty boring.

Looking for a positive performance and 3 points on Saturday - nothing less will do. COYB!

bloody hope so, his own form has been poor since end of last season, We have had ''reasons'' and excuses ,its time for him to show us he is worth all the hype that surrounded him when he joined the club, with few exceptions the whole team needs a wake up call, Lambert needs to prove he is as good as he thinks he is too, STARTING THIS WEEKEND .

Marinersnose - think your living in a dream world where we play a team of academy kids and win the league ain't gonna happen, Still waiting for dozzell to do anything since he broke through he should be the difference in games in this league and isn't Ndaba won't get a look in this year and needs a loan spell like wolfenden, U23s is very different to League football people seem to forget about that
