Ambrose's Priority Town Tuesday, 20th Aug 2002 09:36 Darren Ambrose says that he's not looking to make an impression on the England U21s at this stage of his career. The 18-year-old midfielder has made a stunning start to the season and must be in the frame for an England call-up. Ambrose says that Ipswich are his priority at the moment, telling the club site: "For now I am just concentrating on trying to play as many games as possible for the first-team at Ipswich. "If I am doing well here then maybe England will follow on from there. It if does, it will be a great bonus of course but for now, I'm just focusing on helping the club back into the Premiership." Last season Ambrose's Academy U19 team-mates Darren Bent and Matt Bloomfield made the England U19 side while Ambrose was a surprise omission.
